My heart is heavy learning years later of the passing of this great man, musician and mainly a child of God. Tyrone came to my studio years ago, unannounced, stating I was highly recommended for being able to write lyrics to any melody. I was hesitant as I only had scheduled sessions, however he was adamant. He played an incredible classical piece. I explained I wrote R&B, Pop and Gospel. I asked him what the song was about and the chosen market he wishes to reach. "The movies" he said. As I wrote and re-wrote on my infamous yellow tablet, he continued to scream out, that is so good. Maybe I told him but it is not great. A great musical piece deserves nothing but great lyrics. Needless the say, with his blessings the song was written, completed and copyrighted in 1 session. This was an incredibly amazing, kind, encouraging and inspirational man who is truly missed. May God bless his family and forever comfort them with love and spiritual guidance. His light and memory will last forever and his memory will live on in all of us who were graced with his presence. R.I.P. Tyrone.
