James William Griffin was born June 10, 1931 in Philadelipha, Pennsylvain to his parents the late, George and Louise Mason.  James was called home on Monday, December 31, 2018. 

He married the love of his life, Josephine and they continued to grow their family. James worked for Welmart Industries in Belmawr Industrial Park for many years.  He owned multiple businesses, was a licensed chef, boxer, trainer, body builder and had a green thumb that he utilized to grow his own vegetable and gardens.

James loved fishing , crabbing, boating, traveling, but most of all the sport of boxing and don't forget about his beer! 

He dedicated his life to God and was a life long member at CCUMBC.  He served as one of the original members on the security staff.  James was a pround and stern man that came from humble beginings, that dedicated his life to buiding a secure foundation for his family.  His work ethic was impecable, along wiht the many life lessons he had to teach.

He life was blessed by his children, Russhell, Chrystal, Louis, Floyd, Jeff, Saleem Sr., Saleem Jr., Swenson, Barry (Jeanie), Priscilla, Brian, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great greatchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.  Jimmy will truly be mised!
