Obituary of Kevin Gregory Roberts

Please share a memory of Kevin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kevin Gregory Roberts was born Friday, August 13, 1954 to the late Isaac and Beatrice Roberts.  He was the fourth of seven children, born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  Kevin grew up on French Street and later moved to Venice Park where the family still resides.  He was educated in the Atlantic City school system, where he graduated in 1974.  He later joined the Carpenters Union Local 623, out of Atlantic City.  After 30 years of working on the beautiful buildings that make up the Atlantic City skyline, Kevin retired as a Journeyman.

In 1979, Kevin's life was changed forever when he met Brenda and Aisha.  They officially became a family in August of 1981.  Their family continued to grow with the addition of Tene and Kevin II.  Kevin loved reminiscing about "the good ole'days" uptown, fishing in the inlet, and relaxing on the beach.  He was a collector of sorts and enjoyed trips to the thrift store.  Family and friends were most important to him and you could often find him telling jokes and giving helpful advice.

Sadly, he departed this life on December 25, 2018.  Kevin is predeceased by his beloved son kevin II.  He is survived by his wife Brenda, daughters Aishia ( Michael) and Tene (Earl).  His grandchildren: Imani, Zaire, Michael, Brook-Lynn, Cheyenne, and a soon to be           great-grandson.  Siblings: Kenny (Jackie), Isaac Jr., Brenda (Valdene), Harry, Lisa, and Janna (Troy) and a host of nieces, nephews , cousins and friends.

Lovingly Submitted,

The Family
