Obituary of William C. Toomer, Jr.

William Craig Toomer, Jr. was a military baby born May 18, 1981 on the Island of Guam, located in the  Western Pacific Ocean. His parents were William & Waldeen Cook Toomer.

Upon his family’s return to the continental United States, they settled in East  Berlin, NJ where Craig was enrolled in the Berlin Township  School System. He continued his secondary education at Overbrook Jr & Sr High Schools, located in Lindenwold and Pine Hill, NJ.

Craig enjoyed engaging in physical sports, such as football, boxing, and weightlifting. He took pride in building his physique and became quite fit. As an adult,  Craig held several jobs. He was  a skilled  forklift driver and was employed in the field of construction.

He loved his family and children. He was friendly towards others  and  would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Sadly, on November 6, 2018, Craig was prematurely whisked away from his loved ones to his eternal home.

Craig was predeceased by his dear mother, Waldeen Toomer and his loving paternal grandparents, Donald & Pearl Toomer. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory  his father, William Sr. (Lisa), his children; Aaliyah Toomer, Ayana Toomer, Shaheed Mangum, Tanciana Mangum, Trenity Conover, Andre Hamilton, Yamar Toomer & Yasir Toomer, three sisters; Nashae Lang (Robert), Sherrise Patterson (Norman), and Alisha Patterson, two brothers; Alexion Waite (Adrienne), and Khalil Faison (Egypt), his maternal grandparents; Aaron & Helen Cook, an uncle; Don Toomer (Henrietta), aunts; Donna Mitchell (Esau), and Gwendolyn Toomer-Taylor and a host of cousins, other family & friends.
