Obituary of Jeannette Jackson

Jeannette Jackson was born on September 13, 1984 at West Jersey Hospital, Voorhees, NJ to Jesse Jackson, Sr. and the late Geniene M. Reid.  She was the last grandchild of the late JC and Bessie Jackson of West Atco.  She spent most of her early days in Chiselhurst, NJ.  She graduated from Overbrook Sr. High school and later attended Rutgers College in Camden, NJ.  Jeannette was affectionately given the nickname “Squeaky” by her Dad because of her tiny voice which could open the hearts of so many.  Jeannette worked for various companies but her passion was helping the disadvantaged and those with disabilities.  Jeannette loved shopping, reading, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

On December 19, 2002, Jeannette gave birth to the love of her life, her only child Nasir Williams.  Soon after, she met the second love of her life Shaun Jackson.  The two became one on May 10, 2009.  Jeannette loved her son Nasir more than life itself.  She made sure that he focused on his school work and was very involved with his sport activities.  Although she didn’t want him playing football, she fully supported his interests.  She gave him the best life she could and they were best of friends as well as mother and son.

Jeannette gained her wings on August 19, 2018.  She left many memories of herself which will be cherished by her Husband Shaun, her son Nasir, her father Jesse Jackson, Sr., her brother Jesse Jackson II and wife Renee, sister Beverly Izquierdo and husband Francisco, sister Evelyn Honsby and husband Azure’, sister Danielle Reid, mother and father-in-law Diane and Marvin and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
