On November 30, 2010, at the Regency Hospital of Atlanta, GA, God in His infinite wisdom looked over the Book of Life and saw His precious Shirley V. Brady had completed her Earthly life. With His loving and Mighty Hands, He gently lifted her and took her from Labor to her well earned Reward, where she now has Eternal rest. Shirley V. Brady was born in Arlington, VA on June 11, 1931, to the late Leslie and Thelma Anderson. She was the third of four siblings. She received her early education in the Virginia public school system. She continued her education at West Virginia State and Rutgers University. Shirley served Honorably in the United States AirForce, where she met the love of her life, the late James A. Brady, Jr. They were married in San Antonio, Texas on January 11, 1964. They had one son, Jai Anderson Brady. She was later employed at AT & T and Bell Atlantic from which she retired after 33 years. Shirley was a loyal and faithful member of Williams Temple C.M.E. Church until her health started to fail. She was the Missionary Society President for eight years and served on the Stewardess Board. Shirley served as Women's Day Chairperson and was the Chairperson for the Women's Fellowship. She was honored by her church family for her dedication and availability for doing the Lord's work.
