Obituary of Ernest Bing, Sr.

Ernest Bing, Sr., 86 years of age, and of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2018. He worked in construction for Heavy and General Laborers’ Local 172 and was a lifetime member of The Laborers’ International Union of North America.

He is predeceased by four children, Frankie Price, Ivan Hall, Tyrone Hall and Rolanda Hall; his parents, Nish Bing and Ida Bing Mixson;  three sisters, Eula Mae Gibbons, Rebecca Jones and Gloria Bing; and four grandchildren.

He is survived by his nine children; Sandra Garland, Ernest J. Bing, Helena Charmaine Waller, Ida Bing, Ernell Bing, Lorenzo Lamb, Towanda Lamb, Lanette Roshelle Lamb, and Larry Price; two sisters, Pat and Velma Bing; two brothers, Nish and Terry Bing; 33 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews (one predeceased him).
