Rahsir Tristen Mazyck, 11, of Atlantic City, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at home.  Born in Galloway, New Jersey on March 8, 2007, he was a lifelong resident of Atlantic City.  He attended the Uptown School Complex and was a member of the Atlantic City Dolphins Junior Football League.

 

Rahsir enjoyed riding his bike, playing with his friends, and video games.  He loved his family, and his special cousin, Nashaud Austin.
 

Rahsir is predeceased by his mother, Kimberlea Washington; his paternal grandmother, Cynthia "Mimi" Austin; and his paternal great grandparents, Nathaniel and Ida Ruth Mazyck.

 

Rahsir is survived by his father, Rodrick Mazyck, Jr.; sister, Chelsea Washington; two brothers, Sincere Washington and Sherod Mazyck; stepmother, Shierra Purnell; stepsister, Lanaysia Wright; stepbrother, Asir Purnell; paternal grandfather, Rodrick Mazyck, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Rev. Harry Washington; paternal grandparents, Kennard and Willie Eva Moore; an aunt, Aleah Austin; three uncles, Roeman Austin, Kennard Austin and Kyle Austin, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
