Obituary of LaMesha Monic Ford

LaMesha Monic Ford"Mesha" was born to Robert R. Penn Sr. and Carmen V. Tice (Ford) on September 28, 1976 in Camden, NJ.  On Sunday, March 18, 2018, The Lord called his daughter, LaMesha Monic Ford home to be with Him from the comfort of her home.

She attended Overbrook Regional Senior High School and graduated in 1994.  Shortly after that Mesha went to study Cosmetology at Camden County Technical.  Mesha also modeled with Shelly Blackstone Productions.

Mesha truly enjoyed life to the fullest.  Her passion was shopping and she loved to shop til you drop.  Her favorite stores were Walmart, Joyce Leslie and Shoprite where she would always find all the good sales and bargins.  She also loved buying and giving candy to the kids, they called her "The Candy Lady".

Mesha had a gregarious personality with a big smile and an even bigger heart.  To know Mesha was to truly love her.  She could always be found helping family and friends.  Mesha loved to talk and keep everyone laughing.  We named her "Chatty Kathy."  We would always find her talking to any and every one, family, friends, strangers, anyone who would listen, and even those who didn't want to listen.  Mesh also loved cats, frogs and other animals.  She would always feed the squirrels and birds expensive cashews, and even talk to them saying hey "Little Buddy".

Mesha loved the Lord, she accepted the Lord at an early age.  She loved letting her light shine and telling everyone about the goodness of Jesus.

In 1999 Mesha gave birth to her beautiful Daughter, Aaliyah Knecole Ford (mom-mom), whom she loved dearly.  Mesha always loved shopping for Aaliyah and dressing her so beautifully.

LaMesha leaves to cherish her memory, Her loving and devoted mother Carmen (Step-Father Jimmy), Father Robert (Deborah),Daughter Aaliyah, Brothers Joshua, James, Robert (Sister-in-Law Janice), and Stanley Tice (Tracee); Grandmother Lillie, Nephews Remmie and Ronen, Niece Jazlynn, Sister Jamese and Janice, Aunts Pamela, Shirley and Veronica (Troy), Uncles Ronnie (Pat) and Troy and a host of cousins and friends.
