I met Linette Loper when she was 5 and I was about 19 when her mother, Martha worked for my mother. I felt very close to Martha and was surprised to meet this little happy kid in Martha's life. Martha came to my wedding reception a few years later. She was my confidante and friend. Going through old photos I came across one of Martha and me from that time, looked up Linette and found this horrible news that the little girl who'd grown up to be a beautiful looking human being has died. And I see that Linette actually died in October of 2016, not in 2020 when I found out. Martha would have been so proud of her. I would like to know more of Martha's life after the last time I knew her which was in the late 1960s.

My sincere condolences to Linette's loved ones. Linette was one of the most insightful, loving and courageous human beings I was blessed to know, and I am truly sorry to know that she passed away in October. I am so sorry that I lost track of our friendship. There are no words. I am in shock but comforted in knowing that your suffering has ended. Linette was a fighter. Through all of her illnesses I never heard her complain. She kept it moving and kept achieving. She was filled with the love and light of God. She had many special gifts and was always willing to help anyone in need. Linette was brave and treaded where most were afraid to go. I know you are no longer in any pain. And I know beyond any shadow of doubt that you are with God.
I love you my friend. You are missed.

So very sad that the world has lost another light but happy that you are no longer in pain. No doubt you are walking with our Heavenly Father and are probably offering him candy from your candy dish.
Rest in Peace, Linette.
