Ronald McNeal the 3rd son of the late Rev. Alex and Annie Pearl McNeal born August 11, 1952 was called by God into his eternal resting place on Wednesday Sept. 14, 2016.
Ronald was raised in Philadelphia PA. and attended the Philadelphia public school system; after finishing high school he joined the United States Air Force in August of 1971 where he served in Vietnam as a weapons mechanic. Upon his honorable discharge from the military he attended the school of diesel mechanical services in Schenectady, New York and soon became a diesel mechanic working for General Electric.
Ronald was his own man and did things his way, he had a love for motorcycles and traveled all across the country on his motorcycle. The smallest things would make him laugh, he loved watching TV and had good recall of all the reruns of "Star Trek " he could tell you what each episode was all about. Ronald knew God loved him, he would often say, "me and him are tight he understands me." Ronald had a good heart he became the neighborhood auto mechanic and would make the needed repairs to the cars of family and friends even if they didn't have enough money; he was a blessing to many.
Ronald was predeceased by his older brothers Alex Jr. and James McNeal.
After a short illness he answered God's call and now he leaves to celebrate his life; 1 daughter Ebony Dawkins , 5 grandsons : David Jr., Matteo, Brandon, Jeremiah, and Christian, 2 sisters : Rev. L. Savage and Bonnie Barnes, 5 brothers: Thomas McNeal, Wayne Sapp, Vincent Lyons, Ronnie Gregory and Clarence Jefferson, 3 aunts, 4 uncles, nieces , nephews and a host of family and friends.
