Obituary of Bernard W Fowler

Bernard W. Fowler was born on April 19, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA. Bernard was the second oldest son, born to the late William Henry Fowler and Leticia Elizabeth Fowler. He attended the Philadelphia public school system. After school, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he met and married the love of his life, Esther White in 1952. They shared holy matrimony for 63 years. God never blessed them with children, but they had a host of many nieces and nephews from both sides of the family. Bernard worked for P.T.C as a bus operator which later became S.E.P.T.A. He later became a planning analyst information representative. Cooking was his passion. Also, he was a jazz lover and enjoyed teaching his nieces and nephews about family history. Truly he was loved by all. He is survived by his siblings, Elmira, Ruth, Vernon, Janice, Kathryn, Lillian, Carl Wayne and Barbara. He is also survived by five sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.
