Jason (Moses) McCall, Jr. transitioned this life at Shore Memorial Hospital on June 17, 2015. He was born October 18, 1958, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, to the late Jason and Ernestine Delcarlo McCall.
At an early age, he was baptized in Community Baptist Church where he received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was educated in the Atlantic City Public School System, and graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1978. He was also a graduate of Morristown College in Morristown, Tennessee. In addition, he attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. He enjoyed jogging, playing the guitar, and his grey Chevrolet.
His musical talents extended to Community Baptist Church, The Halleluiah Chorus, Faith Baptist Church Youth Choir, Westminister Evangelistic Church, Evangelical Fellowship Church, Price Memorial, and The Greater Holy Trinity Baptist Church. He also lent his musical talents to a local church in Denver, Colorado. Many people were blessed by his smile, patience, his musical anointing and unique way of playing the piano. He sung with the Halleluiah Chorus, Morning Star Holiness Church Youth Choir, The McCall Family Singers, The Logan and McCall Singers, and briefly with the John Howard Gospel Caravan.
He was formerly employed by the Parkway Service Station and The Armory (Atlantic City). He served in the Army National Guard in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
