Sylvia Pliner born in Brooklyn NY and raised as a city girl.

In 1951 Sylvia & her husband Leon moved to Atco, NJ to become chicken farmers. She was a very hard working farmer of very modest means, but was dedicated to her children and always made sure they were well taken care of.

Years later Sylvia & Leon opened a Residential Health Care Facility in Atco, NJ and a few years thereafter, Leon passed away leaving Sylvia to operate the business and raise the children.

In 1982, Sylvia retired and volunteered at the Jewish Community Center for about 20 years.

Sylvia was a very dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She will be dearly missed.

She leaves cherished memories to her children, Gerald (Judith) Pliner, Vickie (Ed) Kravitz and Ilene (Al) Armato; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
