Obituary of Kenneth C Hollimon

Kenneth C. Hollimon was born in Camden, New Jersey on September 15, 1959 to the late Uleyssee C. Hollimon and Augustine Covington. “Sy”, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, attended the local public school system of Winslow Township, New Jersey; graduating from Edgewood Regional High School, Tansboro, NJ. “Sy” as a youth, was a unique and funny individual. In his later teens, he took a liking to the sport of boxing and started training to become a boxer. While a resident of Camden his adult life, “Sy” was employed as a laborer working various odd jobs. On Friday, February 6, 2015, “Sy” was called home to be with the Lord. “Sy” is survived by his mother, Augustine Dickerson, his sisters, Kathleen Covington and Barbara Reed; two brothers, Charles E. Dickerson, Jr. and Vincent Dickerson; his companion Barbara Aupperle. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
