Obituary of Clarence Lee Alexander

Clarence Lee Alexander, Jr. was born on December 26, 1933 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Mildred Henson and the late Clarence L. Alexander, Sr. He departed this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. He attended Central High School of of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 18 and attended the United States Naval Academy in Annaplolis, Maryland. As a young man he was employed at Hertz Trucking Company.Later he was employed at Brinds Trucking Company while attending LaSalle University where he obtained his Bachelors Degree in accounting. After graduation, he gained employment with the Social Security Administration of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he faithfully worked as a manager until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Lee Gray. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Sandi; his children, Jocelyn, Blair Sr. and his wife Florence, Troy and his wife Lisa and Clarence III and his wife Trena; also ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
