Obituary of Cheryl Diane Singleton

Cheryl Diane Singleton, was born on March 15, 1946 to the late Doris Jones and Ceasar Davis. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Cheryl currently lived in Camden, Delaware but was from Camden, New Jersey where she attended the Camden City Public School System, graduating from Camden High School. In 1982, she was married to Henry Singleton III. Their loving relationship lasted for 31 years until his passing on May 12, 2010. Cheryl accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and joined Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church and was a faithful member. Also, she had worked for the City of Camden for over 25 years. Cheryl was loved by many and had many friends. Her favorite hobbies included bowling, playing cards, gambling and shopping. She was the light of the party at all of our family gatherings. She loved nice things and her creativity was expressed in her home as well as her attire. All of our lives will forever be changed and touched. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, George Taylor, Troy Taylor, Charla Taylor and Charles Turner III; her daughter-in-law, Annette Taylor; her grandchildren, Tasha Taylor, Antoinette Sample, Troy Taylor Jr., James Horne, Brandon Smith, Nattearra Taylor, Sirron Jackson, Desmond Taylor, Tanisha Council, George Jackson, Charlena Turner, Jaleed Taylor-Spearman, Briana Turner and C.J. Turner; her great grandchildren, Quayana Bownlee, Quamir Brownlee, Tyquize Taylor, Makyia Richardson, Sharron Jackmon, AniVia Sample, Roshan Pilliam, Bernye Sample, Danayshia Jackson, Kyla Jackson and Devonte Jackson; her sisters, Betty Taylor-Wilcocks, Michelle Bagby, Jerone Taylor, Darlene Davis and Marlena Turner.
