Charles E. Turner was born to the late Virginia "Hattie" Clark and Edward Turner on December 17, 1940. He was one of seven children. Charles left this life suddenly on Saturday, February 9, 2013 and departed this earthly life to rest in eternal peace in Heaven. We will truly miss him. Charles was educated in the public school system and graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 1957. Charles enjoyed learning and continuing to further his education where he earned his associates degree in Business. Charles was multi-faceted in his work experience, he had many accomplishments which included licensed realtor, claims adjuster; he was certified as a notary and recently graduated from Harris School of Medical Billing and Coding. He was employed at Maximum Research, Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ. Charles was very people oriented; every time you would see Charles, he had a smile on his face. Everyone that knew him, loved him.. He came to know so many people throughout his life. He was warmhearted and very giving. He always said, "If I got it, you got it". He displayed frequent acts of love and kindness. He frequently volunteered at church where he sang on the choir and served as a Deacon. One of his favorite hymnals was "On a Hill Far Away Stood an Old Rugged Cross". For many years, he practiced martial arts, where he earned his black belt in Karate. He also enjoyed Kung-Fu movies; playing chess with friends and was also an avid bowler. Charles accepted the Lord as his personal Savior in 1981 and has since been a faithful servant of the Lord. He was currently a member of St. John Baptist Church of Camden, NJ under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Silas M. Townsend. Charles leaves to mourn his children, Charla Turner of Camden, NJ, Charles Turner, Jr. of Camden, NJ, Tahira Santana of Cherry Hill, NJ, Sacoya Turner of Williamstown, NJ, Tameka Robinson of Elkins Park, Pa, George Taylor of Camden, NJ and Troy Taylor of Delaware: Son-in-law, Jeremais Santana; daughter -in-law Annette Taylor; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
