Alice J. Waters, daughter the late Sumpter Davis and Louise Lawrence was born April 29, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Lord called her from labor to reward on December 18, 2012. Alice was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. In 1956 she married George Waters, her husband of 56 years. They moved to Chesilaurst, New Jersey in 1966, where they raised their five children. Alice was a faithful member of Lighthouse of Deliverance Gospel Church and served on the Mothers' Board. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Samuel and Fitzgerald. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, George Waters, five children Sharon, Keith, Sr. (Brenda), Kevin, Sheilagh and Kenneth, Sr. (Mary); five step-children, George, Jr. (Sylvia), Larry (Dee), Evelyn, Gwendolyn and Danny: (16) grandchildren, Aliscia, Denise, Keith, Jr., Sharon, Brenda Alia, Chad, Kyle, Kenneth, Jr., Rosalyn, George III, Anthony, Avery, Aaron, Angillique, Alice, Alexis; Three brothers, David (Lillie), Jesse and Robert (Christine). Six sisters Patricia (ely), Sarah, mary (Maurice), Joanne, Josephine and Geraldine and a host of step-grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
