Obituary of Rudy Renaldo Vaughn

Rudy "Pepe" Renaldo Vaughn, born on February 6, 1962, in Philadelphia, PA, peacefully passed away on May 28, 2024, in Sewell, New Jersey, at the age of 62. Known for his heart of gold and radiant smile, Pepe's presence brought warmth and joy to all those around him.

Rudy dedicated over 20 years of his life as a foster parent, positively impacting the lives of more than 50 children before retiring in April. His selflessness and unwavering spirit were evident in his commitment to spreading happiness and helping others. Rudy found fulfillment in his career at NJ Transit and had a passion for driving and cruising, always planning his next adventure at sea.

Rudy will be deeply missed by his sister, Sheila A. Wallace, his brother, Shawn A. Vaughn, his nieces, nephews, children, Josh, Justin, Jonathan, Ryan, Anthony, Michael, Stephen, Stehanie, Destiny (Zoe), grandchildren, and a host of beloved family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Nell Vaughn, his father, Rudy E. Vaughn, his brother, Kenneth Fitzgerald Vaughn and sister Freda Paulette Brown.

Rudy's legacy of service, compassion, and dedication will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held on June 13th at Christ Care Missionary Baptist Church in Sicklerville, NJ, with a viewing from 9am to 11am and the service from 11am to 12:15pm. Burial will follow at Berlin Cemetery in Berlin, NJ, with a repass at the church.
