My dearest Rob
These 20 plus years with you have been so amazing. The love we had for one another was priceless. We had sooo many good times together that will forever hold a lasting memory in my heart. Even when we would have our 'silly little" arguments which was very very few, we'd give it maybe 20 to 30 minutes and then come back to each other and bust out laughing because we knew the argument, we just had was silly. That's one of the things that made our relationship strong. We NEVER would let the silly arguments change how we felt for one another. We were each other's rock. Even when you were in the hospital these past 2 months, you ALWAYS told me you knew Asha and I had your back and would do what needed to be done to make sure you were going to be ok. And that we did but, in the end, we knew you were tired of dealing with the pain you were constantly in. Even though it was the hardest thing for us to do, we knew you were tired and wanted it to be over. It saddens me you not being here for us to make more memories, but I am at peace knowing you are no longer suffering. I LOVE YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH. You WILL be FOREVER in my heart ❤️!!!

This is the write up about Mr. Willis when he was named as the first Support Staff Member of the Year in 2021 for BTHS:
Robert Willis
Support Staff of the Year
Instructional Assistant
There are so many things I can say about Mr. Willis. The most important of these would be that he puts students first. Always! Mr. Willis goes above and beyond for every student. He has a way of understanding students and connecting with them; he helps to create a learning environment in the ILC, one of support, encouragement, and most of all, one of learning. Mr. Willis has vast content knowledge and life experience. He is extremely adept in the sciences, providing tremendous support to students in each of the science courses. His support of students does not end here, however. Mr. Willis will take time to help students conduct research, complete projects, and revise assignments. He will sit and read with students, or he will talk with students about what they are reading in order to help them better understand the material.
Mr. Willis is always in tune with the students. He can sense when students are frustrated, when they need to take a walk, when they need to talk something out, or when they need a good laugh. Students respect him and respond very well to his interventions - especially when those interventions are helpful to the student. Additionally, he is always teaching students about current events and what is going on in the world, especially in parts of the world that represent our students’ cultures. He even has a map of the world on which he hangs the flag that represents those diverse cultures. He always wants our students to feel a sense of belonging and respect for who they are.
Mr. Willis made my transition into the ILC smooth. He understands and respects the program. He is eager to assist me in its growth and its success. He embraces the changes that have come about in the program over the years, and adapts his assistance to ensure the continued success of the program. No matter what, he is always willing to lend a helping hand. No job is too big or too small for Mr. Willis, and he will put his all into everything. Over the last two-and-a-half years, we have developed into an awesome team.
Personally, I feel very grateful for the opportunity to work with Mr. Willis. He is an extraordinary Instructional Assistant. It is my pleasure to have this opportunity to sing his praises.

So many wonderful memories of my big cousin Bobby! He was always a prankster! One of my fondest memories was, when we were younger, our families would go to Atlantic City together. He and Butchie brought the big ole crab into the house and they held Monique over it and Rodney used to suck his finger and they held his finger close to the claws!!! We were so scared! And Butchie and Bobby were just cracking up! When we talked, we tried to outdo each other “ joneing” each other! He always had a smile on his face and that laugh….always made me laugh! I’ma miss you cuz! Love you so much!

Mr. Willis: I will forever miss working with you. You meant so much to all of us: the students, the teachers, everyone. We all learned so much from you every day and we had A Lot of fun, too! Our Cowboys v. Eagles rival will always be legendary. We always knew a desk was going to be decorated in Blue or Green based on the results of the game. Rest Easy, Mr. Willis. You will always be in my heart.
Love Always, Aly Krisanda
