Obituary of Marvin W. Worthington

Marvin Wayne Worthington was born to the late Franklin Benjamin and Fannie Elizabeth (Bugsby) Worthington 0n September 20, 1955. Marvin grew up in west Berlin, New Jersey with his dear cousin Granville Worthington whom he loved dearly. He attended Edgewood Regional High School in Atco, New Jersey. Marvin served four years in the United States marine corps where he graduated an honorable discharge. Marvin visited and attended several churches just to name a few. St Johns United Methodist, West Berlin, New Jersey, Elwood Community Methodist, Egg Harbour Township, New Jersey and praise Tabernacle Egg Harbour Township, New Jersey. Marvin was also known in Atlanta Ga, by his nickname (Carpet Man/Rug bug). Marvin was preceded in death by his father Franklin, mother Fannie, brother Frank, and sister Audrey.
Marvin, lovingly remembered by his daughter Sarina Woodard (Rena Pooh), was born to Glenda Woodard and Marvin Worthington. Marvin was a cherished father to his daughter Naquinta Brown, and his son Renardo Miller. He was also adored by his dear grandchildren: Quentin Wimbish Jr., Quintavious Wimbish, Billy Woodard, Taylor Sims, Alexis Woodard, Patience Pitts, Chelsea Epps, and Ashley Rouzan.
His 8 loving siblings: Delores Hayes, Jean Davis, Margaret Jefferson, Beatrice Ray, Irene Robinson, Gwen Collins, Ronald and Gregory Worthington, 2 sisters in law: Martha and Julia Worthington. 2 brothers-in law Spencer Robinson and William Ray.
Marvin shared a significant and cherished relationship with his beloved partner, Romona King. Together, they created a bond of love, companionship, and support that brought great happiness to Marvin's life.
Marvin's love and devotion to his family brought immeasurable joy and he will be forever missed. His memory will live on in our hearts and minds, and his legacy of love will continue to inspire us all. Additionally, Marvin's family and loved ones will forever hold him in their hearts, remembering the love and joy he brought into their lives. Marvin also had business for 30 yrs. Worthington Carpet Company followed by King Worthy Cleaning. Marvin his love extended throughout family and a wide circle of friends who brought him great joy and companionship.
He leaves behind a host of cherished cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends who shared in his laughter, adventures, and precious moments. Marvin's warm and kindhearted nature endeared him to those around him, and his presence brought comfort and happiness to all who knew him. His memory will be forever treasured by his extended family and friends, as they reflect on the beautiful moments and memories shared with Marvin throughout the years.
