Sometimes a person comes in to your life at just the right time. When I first married Aaron we went up to New Jersey to meet the family. I was so nervous but as soon as we got to the door she was there with open arms and a warm smile. And that is how she has always been so welcoming and giving . She always made me feel like part of the family from day one. I will miss my picture buddy who loved family photos as much as me. I thank her for all she has done in my children's lives to enrich them. She was the family's touch stone and all our worlds are better for having her in it
Love Melissa

Great-Grandma was so sweet, funny and caring with my sibling and I. She would always so proud of me when I would call to tell her about my accomplishments or to just tell how I was doing. She always supported me in anything I did. My sister is named after her and you can see grandma in her everyday. I will miss her so much. ~Tayia

My grandmother was one of the strongest and most caring people I’ve ever known. She practically raised me and taught me things that I will forever be grateful for. She was loving, tough, sassy, and beautiful. Growing up, I often would try to ignore the values she tried to instill in me. But she never gave up because she saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself at the time.
I want to thank you Grandma for everything that you did for me. Not only did you leave a positive imprint on my life, but you also left me with the belief that I could do anything I wanted to do in life if I put forth the effort. That’s what you did for me---you gave me the ability to believe in myself and that is something that I will always cherish. You were one of a kind. I can’t begin to go back and relive all the memories we shared because there are just too many. Just know that I love you, you will never be forgotten, and all your efforts were not in vain. Rest in peace Grandma. One day I’ll see you again.
Jeff

One of the most unthinkable moments for me and my family was when I had to say farewell to one of the biggest inspirations in my life. Not only was she my strength and pride, but also the very essence of my existence. She was and still is the greatest spirit that ever came into my life. She raised me and my brothers to always be respectable young men. I learned a lot from her growing up. One of the lessons she taught me at a very young age was to always keep God first and lean upon him in prayer and in life. She was the glue to my entire family tree, the one who would always lift you up when you felt like the world was against you and encourage you to do better and be better. I am honored and blessed to say she was and will forever be my grandmother and mentor. I am who I am and what I’ve learned because of her. She made me feel confident about myself in ways I’d never imagine growing up in a harsh unstable world. With every once of my very being, I miss her unconditionally and love her to no end. I’m not saying goodbye to her---by no means---I’m saying until we meet again. No more will she feel pain; no more will she suffer; no more will she feel alone; no more will she be sad; no more is no more! My memories of her are endless and cherished. From the bottom of my shattered heart. I love you Grams! I miss you so much and thank you for everything. Until we meet again.

My grandmother was a strong woman who told it like it was, deeply into her family, was a professional seamstress, and raised four children, including my mother. She didn't mince words, but she was kind and made sure that we were as kind as possible in dealing with others. She helped me in many ways and was involved with me getting healthier when I was younger and diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome.
I remember seeing her camera and she had THOUSANDS of photos of family who I didn't really know, and she told me about each one. She was our matriarch and was a caretaker of my grandfather towards the end of his life. I remember spending days sitting in the kitchen with her. We talked about cooking, life, and she even took time to teach me how to take better care of myself and health. I just wish I had a chance to see her more often. She was deeply loved and I miss her so much.
I love you Grandmom.
