Michelle, so many things happen in life that don't make sense. This is one of those times. We have such wonderful memories of the times we spent together with John. We have a beautiful picture of John and Ian(2 1/2) walking hand in hand, with John looking down at Ian with his beautiful smile. We will cherish that memory forever. We hope that you and Gianna can find some support and peace from the friends and family that surround you during this difficult time.

I had the absolute pleasure and joy to work with John throughout my entire career. He was my colleague and friend. He always had a smile and was always ready to help or take in any assignment. He was beloved by his colleagues, work associates and customers. He was a cornerstone of Siemens MR business and a major and consistent contributor to its success
He foremost was a loving husband and father. His brothers smile was when he talked about Michelle and Gianna
There are so many things that I can say about John or what I learned from him, but there is not enough space.
What meant the most to me was that he simply made me a better person by just knowing him
Michelle and Gianna , my heartfelt sympathy to you and please know how much he was loved as the man we all knew
God bless you and keep you
Love
Nancy Gillen

My heart was broken when I learned of John's passing. He was such a kind and loving man. He was never mad or upset he was positive and the smile and laugh it made it all better. I met John in Iselin while working with the M\R department. He was so helpful and patient as he explained the technology which was so different from what I knew about CT technology. He made you feel comfortable and you felt like you knew him for years. I left Siemens for 5 years and returned to the new location in Malvern. I ran into him and again the first thing I saw was that smile. We talked and I felt like it was just yesterday we saw each other.
My condolences to the Metellus family and all those who knew ohn or were touched by him. We were so lucky to have known John and he will be missed. Rest in peace my friend I will always remember you and you will hold a special place in my heart.

Dear Michelle and family,
I had the pleasure of getting to know John the last three years working at Siemens Healthineers. As a "newbie" to the company, John was always willing to offer me a helping hand. If I ever had a question or needed guidance, he was there with a big warm smile. I admired John greatly and will miss him very much. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. God bless

To Michelle and family, I want to sincerely extend my condolences on the loss of John. We never met but I worked closely with John on the intraoperative suites at Siemens. I can honestly say that there are few people I respected more than John. Though not everything worked the way John and I wished on the intraoperative sites, not once did I ever see him get mad or exasperated with the situation, he would just find a way to work through it in a positive manner to get the job done. In all of our conversations, John never once had a bad word for anyone whether they were at fault or not (he left that for me), his one goal was to make sure that it worked out in the end for everyone. John was a kind, respectful, intelligent human being to work with, but above that he was truly a wonderful colleague and friend. I will miss working with him on our projects, but most of all I will miss his friendship.

I had the honor of being John's manager when I came to Siemens in 2013. Without doubt, his ability to make the workplace an enjoyable one coupled with his patience and deep understand of all things in Siemens MR world made him a delight to work with.
I was REALLY saddened to hear of his passing and wish John's family all the best in this very difficult time. The world needs more Johns, not less!!
