Mr. Pratt was my guidance counselor and then a colleague. He always would tell me “Don’t sweat the small stuff”. He was a true gentleman.

Sincere condolences to the Pratt family and friends. I had the pleasure of working with Charlie at RVRHS for many years, where he was a great role model for our students and staff. Charlie was an outstanding colleague, a true gentleman, and was respected by all. He will be missed, but remembered for his kindness, intelligence, and good nature. RIP, Charlie.

Charlie Pratt was a consummate professional, and how he interacted with and treated others at RVRHS set a very high bar for the rest of us. It was an honor to work with him and learn from him in the years we shared at RV. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. Rest in peace, Charlie.

Affectionately know as uncle Artie...God Has Smiled on Me was one of his favorite Gospel songs he told me this a long time ago when I use to sing it in church. And he wanted me to come back and visit the church so that I could sing it with him. Everytime he saw me that would always be his question to me! When? Don't forget you hear! Come and sing it with me, ok. Well we never got that chance, but one thing that I do know uncle Artie...is that God has Smiled on You! Love you Dana

Mr Pratt was my track coach at RHS, but not only that he became a friend for life. His caring, gentlemanly ways were prominent in everything he did. He led by example in everything he taught and showed as a human. He inspired me to become the school record holder in the mile, but also keeping running and fitness in my life forever. It wasn’t until after I read his “It Takes A Village “ that I knew the burdens he carried but didn’t show to his students. I am glad to have had him in my life and to inspire me to a life he would have been proud of. RIP. Thanks for being part of my “village” in helping influence and raise me in a positive way.

My sincere condolences to the Pratt family and Charlie’s close friends. He and I were colleagues for many years at Rancocas Valley. There was no finer a man. What he accomplished in his lifetime was truly extraordinary, yet he remained a humble man and a very loyal friend. I will remember him fondly always and celebrate the example he was for so many. Thank you, Charlie. I will miss you.

Charlie was a colleague of mind at RVRHS. During my tenure at RV he was the head of the guidance department. He was an outstanding educator and role model for high school students. I value the shared time we had at Rancocas Valley. Charlie was a true gentleman. His honest humility, his patience, and his kindness will not soon be forgotten.

Q: What will you never forget about Charles?
A: I had Mr Pratt for a teacher (1968) at Riverside High School when he taught Business Law. He was a great, kind teacher and his smile lightened up the classroom.
My sincere condolences to his family.
R.I.P. Mr Pratt, you were a great teacher to me!
