Rosalie Butler Moore born on September 11, 1933 to the late Horace Butler and Connie Butler in Jersey City, New Jersey. She had three siblings that preceded her in death.
Rosalie was educated in Jersey City where she graduated from Ferris High School.
Rosalie was married to Andrew J Moore April 25, 1953, until his death in July 2018 and from that union was born two boys Andrew Jr. and Glenn (deceased).
Rosalie enjoyed working with children and she had a career where she worked and retired from at the Glassboro, New Jersey school system.
Rosalie was affectionately called Rose or Mom Rose. She was loved by many. She enjoyed sewing, singing, cooking, and traveling. She would travel to Jersey City to visit her nephew Charles and his wife Jolandra.
Rosalie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior early in life. She was a faithful member of Calvary Bible Tabernacle for many years until she became ill. Even in her illness, she was a faithful supporter of her church. She served in the Noble Woman ministry and on the Deaconess board. Sister Moore had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing as a member of the Senior choir. She was also a Sunday School teacher who loved the little ones she taught, and they loved her as well. She enjoyed serving others as a missionary and prayer warrior. Telling everyone she came in contact with about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She leaves to cherish her memories son Andrew Moore, caregivers Natalie and Daron she called her daughter and son. Grand daughter Clairice Moore and Husband Tony and 2 children and son in law and grandson. Special granddaughter Natasha she called her “her buddy” she taught her to be a prayer warrior like her and Natasha also helped her a lot during her sickness. Niece Geraldine Loveland. Special friend Arlene Pierce. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
