Helen Evelyn Johnson was born on July 7, 1942, the only child to the late Tubman Pratt and Evelyn Pratt in Camden, New Jersey. Helen graduated from Edgewood High School in 1961. Helen met and married Wayne Johnson, Sr. and from this union three sons were born: Wayne, Jr., David B. and Steven. Helen worked at Kellogg's Cereal Company located in Blue Anchor, NJ and retired after 30 years of service. Helen joined St. John's United Methodist Church in 1976 and was a faithful member.
