Maria Graciela (nee Vanegas) Addar peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 12, 2022. Maria was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Luis Antonio Vanegas and Romelia del Carmen Palacios on July 10th, 1952. Her early years were spent in Guatemala were she was educated and worked as a seamstress in her mother's shop before moving to the United States. Upon moving to Trenton, New Jersey she met, fell in love with and married Er Kedar Addar. Maria Loved teaching and nurturing young minds. She worked as a Trenton Head Start teacher for over thirty years. Her love for and commitment to the children she taught was her driving force. She loved the lord and was dedicated to showing his love through service. Maria stayed active and was always on the move helping someone somewhere with something. In her retirement she enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and the occasional trip to Atlantic City. Maria is survived by her four sons: Luis (Michelle), Kenyatta, Mohammad (Pamela) and Yusuf; 11 grandchildren: Kamah Vanegas (Shane), Luis Vanegas, Quan Cromwell, Quanaia Cromwell, Jamal, Keyana, Micah, Maya, Christian, Alijah, Adonis and 3 great grandchildren Gabriella Quinones, Aaliyah Montgomery, and Jaden Montgomery.
