Obituary of Lonnie Craig Parker

Please share a memory of Lonnie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lonnie Craig Parker, the son of Marie Parker and Ray Parker was born on February 22, 1967, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then moved to Deptford township, where he loved to be. He departed this life on January 13th, 2022, at Virtua in Voorhees and now he is at peace. Lonnie went to junior high and high school in Deptford New Jersey. He was known as Lonnie, Lon Lon, Lunch meat, etc. He was affectionately known by those who knew him as a great father, brother, and son. In junior high school football, he was a cornerback #22. He was also involved in little league baseball, A dance group, and even played the saxophone. Lonnie’s favorite football teams were the 76rs and the knicks. He even went to a 76’rs game and he watched Dr. J and Mosses Malone play. Lonnie loved music. His favorite get away was music. When you saw Lonnie, he would always have a radio, phone, or even on TV there was some type of music playing. He even made a rap up with his daughter Shaniece. “Walking down the street, looking like meat because we both have brown coats on; and we're kicking through the leaves looking like hives cuz our hoods are covering our faces." He enjoyed playing sports and he would play outside with his daughter and pretend like he was a coach. Lonnie had a certificate in culinary and knew how to cook very well. He loves to eat, and he loves to put ketchup on his chicken. That's where his daughter gets it from. Lonnie had a special relationship with all. Lonnie was preceded in death by both parents Marie Parker and Ray Parker; Sister Lisa parker and brother Kee Kee Parker; Girlfriend Keisha Brown. Lonnie leaves to cherish his memory to his daughter Shaniece Parker and a host of extended family. Although Lonnie is no longer here, I know he would be saying to all of us ONE LOVE and WORD IS BOND.
