My Grand Nephews and I are relatively new to St. Paul UMC. I remember Manny as a welcoming and devoted member of the Church. When I led the church service one Sunday, I asked the question of the congregation, "How is it with your sole?" a question regularly asked by John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church. I recall Manny's voice ringing out above the congregation that day with the response - "It is well!" For us - and even though we did not know him as well as some others, he was an inspiration and we shall miss him, deeply.
