He had a love for poetry and would write short pieces to share with his sister Rasheeda. Rhumeir also had a great since of humor. He was fun to be with and he was funny. Meir loved to laugh and oftentimes, he made everyone else around him laugh, including the nurses who helped take care of him. Meir loved family and was full of life. He had a special bond with his friends, his sisters; Aliya and Rasheeda, his uncles Craig and Brad and his Grandfather James. He especially enjoyed his Grandfathers wisdom concerning life without judgment. In his friends' circle' he went by the nicknames Kabeir "the great" and Eastwood. Meir loved good food and was particular about what he ate. He learned to make salmon and stake from his Aunt Paul. They enjoyed talking about the Bible and many aspects of life and Meir would often encourage his Aunt Paul through his own adversity in life.
