Please share a memory of Maggie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Maggie Mae Davis was born December 11, 1945 in Marion, South Carolina. She peacefully transitioned this life on June 18, 2021 at Virtua Hospital, Marlton, NJ. Maggie Mae was born to Samson and Rachel Davis, and educated in Philadelphia, PA. Maggie enjoyed her work at St. Luke's Hospital in Philadelphia, Brodocks (Mrs. Paul) and Moyer Mitchells, the chicken factory here in New Jersey. She was also a loving caregiver for many years. As a "Mother", words can't express how blessed we are to have had you as our "Mommy". You were our constant teacher, nurturer, wisdom sharer, "get that behind" if you need be, fashion influencer, jokester, number one advocate, biggest cheerleader, and Faith teacher. Not only was she our Mom, she was a mother figure to our friends and some of her own friends. Mom was a strong, hard working, honest beautiful, spiritual, reliable, extremely generous, caring, fun, loving, awesome dancer, and strong willed Phenomenal Woman. As a "Sister", Maggie always expressed her unconditional love to all her siblings, by always being there for each of them, as well as their families. She was a second mother to quite a few. Maggie was known to always enjoy family gatherings. She loved sharing the soap operas with her sisters and friends. As a "Faithful Member of the Church", Maggie enjoyed serving in the food pantry and she was in charge of the corner cupboard. Maggie was a true prayer warrior and worshipper, who danced her way into heaven. As a "Friend to Many", Maggie resided within the West Atco/Chesilhurst community for 50 years. She shed her light wherever she went. To know her was to love her! Proceeding her in death: Her parents, Samson and Rachel Davis; her siblings, William Austin, Daisy Robinson, Elijah Davis, Isiah Davis, and Samson Davis Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory: Her sisters, Classel Davis (Bobby) and Sandra Davis. Maggie is also survived by her 4 sons, Jeffrey Davis, Randy Davis, Henry Foxworth III (Sandra), Devon Davis (Helen); Children of Love, Allen Brown, Timothy Foxworth, Jewel Williams (Delwood) and Eugene Foxworth (Greta); 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
