Please share a memory of Marian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marian Marie (nee Berry) Hollis was born April 9, 1941, to the late Charles M. Berry, Sr. and Kathleen (Dunlap) Berry. She was the second one of 8 children born to this union. She kept a sharp mind and a quick wit until she was called into her eternal rest in the early morning hours on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. On her Journey, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her LORD & SAVIOR. She was a long time FAITHFUL member of 21 years at Harris Temple A.M.E. Church, Camden, New Jersey.
Marian was born in Camden, New Jersey where she attended school. She loved to cook! Her joy was when she cooked for family and friends. Her cooking skills came from her mother. She loved going on bus trips to see plays, watching good movies on television late nights and she loved listening to the oldies. She also, loved visiting family and friends. But the love of her life was her children and grandchildren. She had a special love for each and every one of them and there was absolutely nothing that she would not do for them. She was happy and so proud to see her grandson get ordain as Rev. Sean Patterson.
She was predeceased in death by her late husband George Hollis and two (2) sons: Darnell Berry and Brian Berry. She leaves to treasure her memory 4 children: Troy Berry (Sicklerville, New Jersey), Andrea Hollis (Philadelphia, PA), Shelly (David, Sr.) Key (Cherry Hill, New Jersey), Patricia Hollis (Sicklerville, New Jersey) and 1 (one) god-son: Julius Davis (Camden, New Jersey).
