She was a member of St. Paul CME Church, and a caregiver. She enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandson Raymond, great-grandson Elijah and her beloved niece Karima McKenney. Joyce worked for Absecon for many years, where she served as a Home Health Aid. Her passion for helping others did not stop once she clocked out, she routinely served the homeless within her community and supported her niece Karima McKenney. Regardless of the physical pain of cancer, Joyce brought endless joy and laughter to our hearts, She was a strong, stubborn, private, yet a gentle woman with an amazing sense of humor. One would hardly know the toll and physical pain the disease caused Joyce's body, but she fought until the very end. Joyce was blessed to witness the birth of her great-grandson, Elijah.
