Born Margaret Carolyn Brown, daughter of the late Carmen David and Henry Thomas on December 5,1936 in Harlem,NY,passed surrounded by her loving family on January 2, 2020. Peggy attended her schooling in New York City. She later received her GED in 1982 and attended 1 year of community college. Peggy married her teenage sweetheart the late Samuel Melvin Brown on April 8th, 1954 and within the same month they moved to Weymouth. NJ. through this union 10 children were born, 5 girls and 5 boys. She was the matriarch of her family and enjoyed her children gathering around her and making her laugh. She often enjoyed counting all of her many grandchildren. In fact, she had 19 grandchildren, 45 grate grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Peggy was a laborer at Wilmad Glass company for many years. she was a member of the First Baptist Church and served in various ministries. She eventually moved to Sicklerville, NJ and joined Christ Care Unit Missionary Baptist Church in 2005. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherished her memory 5 sons. Russell Brown of Pleasantville, NJ, Samuel Brown Jr. of Atlantic City, NJ, Rodney Brown of Pine Hill, NJ, Duane Williams of Brunswick, MD and Henry Brown of Clayton, NC; 2 daughters Regina Brown of Sicklerville, NJ and Carmen Gray of Pine Hill, NJ. 1 Brother Walter Thomas of Sicklerville, NJ and numerous grand, great and great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Peggy leaves to join in heaven, along with her parents, her husband Sam, daughters Gail, Letha and Lynette, brother Lenny and Bruce, sister Letha and grandson Lamar.
