Obituary of Adele Joan Bonaparte

Adele Joan Bonaparte was Born April 13th 1931 to William and Margret Manson. She departed this life November 26th 2019.

Adele obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Moore College of Art, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Temple University. She was owner of Adele’s Originals African Boutique in Philadelphia, a Teacher for the Philadelphia school system, a Social Worker for Northwest Mental Health and a Director for United Way, (Counsel on Aging), in Daytona Beach Florida. She was a member of Miller Memorial Baptist Church in Philadelphia, and later, a member of Tubman King Church, in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Adele was previously married to Fred Bonaparte and they had three Boys; Eric, Greg, and Curt Bonaparte. Adele was known for the ways she encouraged people to pursue their dreams. It did not matter what a persons idea was, or how frivolous a project might seem, she would always say "You can do it".  She always believed in people.

Her skills in art and clothing design rendered her numerous art awards. Her garments were featured in numerous fashion shows throughout the Tri State area. Adele also produced her own fashion shows. Adele had a photographic memory, enabling her to make any clothing or art design from just a picture. Her favorite food was alaskan crab, plank salmon, and cashews.  She was known in Daytona for her sweet potato pies.

She lived at Riverfront Nursing home in Cherry Hill, New Jersey at the time of her passing.  She is proceeded by her father and mother, William and Margaret Manson as well as her brother, Lawrence Manson.  She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her Sons Eric, Greg, and Curt;  her grandsons, William, Jai, and Aaron Bonaparte; her daughters-in-law, Dawn Bonaparte, and Aliyah Evans; her first cousins Rose Willis, Louis Williams, Ida Clay, Shirly Morrison and a multitude of relatives and friends too numerous write.  She will be missed.
