Obituary of Kenya Danielle Berry

Please share a memory of Kenya to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Princess Kenya Danielle Berry was born June 30, 1998, to Kimya Berry. From the very first day of her life, she had complications and spent the first 11 months of her life in the hospital and was given a 15-20% chance to live. Her mother was told that she would not be able to walk or talk or do the things that we as healthy people take for granted every day. Throughout the 58 surgeries she endured during her life, she never complained, and she always had a smile on her face. She was the life of the party and was a real example of how we should live. Well, this miracle child beat the odds. Not only did she make it past the 15-20% chance she was given to live, but she lived to be 2 weeks short of her 25th birthday. Not only was she able to walk, but she was able to dance and ride her bike. Not only was she able to talk through the trach she had for her entire life, but she was able to sing through it also. She taught us that no matter what life throws your way, you can overcome because God is still in control. Kenya loved to dance and sing, and she made up a lot of songs according to the situation and put them on Instagram. She didn’t need anyone to tell her she was beautiful, because she knew without a doubt that she was a Diva. She also had a fascination for Angels and Mermaids. However, just before the Lord called her home, she said “Mommy, I’m going to be an Angel”. Preceded her in death was her Great Grandmother, Catherine Berry and she leaves to mourn, her Mother, Kimya Berry, her Sisters, Kaleah Berry and Kayla Berry, her Niece, Kassidy Berry and Nephew, Cameron Williams, Great Grandfather, Clarence Berry, Grandparents, Gregory and Annie Berry, Aunt, Latricia Berry, Uncles, Anthony Berry (Jessica) and Russell Robinson, Cousins, Tamarra Robinson, Kwymire Felder Jr. (AKA KJ), Ranisha Robinson, Lanaya Robinson, Tarralyn Berry, a Special Cousin, John Alexander Jr (AKA Bink), and Daddy Sean Harvey, and a host of family and friends.
