Ray was a beloved and gifted jazz musician whose artistry touched countless lives. A master of the drums, bass, and keyboards, he shared his passion through live performances, teaching, and producing. As a devoted drum and keyboard instructor, he inspired many students, instilling not only skill but also a deep love for music.

Beyond music, Ray was a fierce competitor at the pool table. Friends and fellow players knew him for his sharp focus, determination, and the joy he brought to the game.
Ray also found fulfillment and pride in his professional life. For many years, he worked as a forklift operator and trainer at IKEA, where he was known for his skill, reliability, and mentorship.
