Obituary of Herbert Bailey

Herbert Bailey, affectionately known as Herb, was the third of four children born to the late Leroy and Mary Bailey on October 20, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
For more than 25 years, Herbert faithfully served as a devoted employee of Complete Care at Burlington Woods. He worked with integrity, diligence, and compassion, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. He took great pride in his work and gave his very best in all that he did.
Outside of his career, Herbert was gifted with artistic talent. He was a skilled painter and sketch artist, often commissioned by others to create treasured works of art in his spare time. His creativity brought joy not only to his family and friends but to all who were blessed to see his artistry. Herbert also enjoyed sports and was a proud Philadelphia Eagles Fan. He looked forward to watching football and cheering on his favorite team.
Above all, Herbert was a proud father and grandfather, He cherished his family deeply, often sharing stories and speaking with immense pride about his children and grandchildren.
Herbert is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Mary Bailey, his sister, Julie Bailey, and his brother, Leroy Bailey. He is survived by those who cherish his beautiful memory: His twin daughters, Letitia Bailey of Franklinville, NJ and Lynita Bailey of Blackwood, NJ his sister, Phyllis Bailey of Eastern Shore, VA; three aunts, Daisey Fletcher, Juanita Hamilton, and Ruth Davis of Patterson, NJ; one uncle, Carl W. Bailey of Philadelphia, PA, two nieces, Nefertiti Phillips of Camden, NJ and Najah Presley of Greensboro, NC, three nephews, Nicholas Bailey and Johnathan Bailey of Decatur, GA, and Anthony Bailey of Camden, NJ; two granddaughters, Amina Easley and Sakya Gould; his significant other, Sharmane Pitts of Camden NJ; beloved bonus children of his significant other, Lashonda Pitts, Nate Ballard, Markese Pitts, Naheen Pitts, and Germir Pitts along with a host of extended relatives, friends, and colleagues.
