On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, an angel of the Lord came to receive our loving and devoted Michelle Denise Butcher-Williams (Bunny).
Michelle was born at General Hospital in Queens, New York on December 14, 1961, to the late Vernell Butchere and Oliver Butcher. Being raised in Bronx, New York until the age of 16 years old then relocating to Sicklerville, New Jersey for several years.
Michelle then moved to Chestertown, Maryland. After a year in Chestertown Maryland, Michelle moved to Delaware where she became a certified nursing assistant until she got into trouble with the law. She had then moved back to New Jersey to get her life back on track. Bunny lived on the streets of Camden, New Jersey, battling her addiction. After she got tired of being tired she got clean. Bunny always believed in God, she always had faith in the Lord. Although God never blessed Bunny with children of her own, God did in fact bless her with 4 beautiful God-children. She loved each and every one of them. She got to spend most of her time with 3 of them out of the 4, Nyisha Seddens, Namiah Troutman and the one she helped raise Ameer Wiliams.
In 2009, Bunny married her husband John Williams she had met in church; they were married for 13 years until one day she decided to separate due to finances. Bunny went through big health issues, from having a pacemaker, a defibrillator in 2019, and then brain surgery in 2024, but that didn't stop her. You never saw her sad. You'd always see a smile on her face even when life got rough for her.
Bunny loved helping people. She loved cooking, which she had taken after her parents. She loved dancing, shooting pool and listening to all kinds of music.
She leaves to cherish her baby brother; John Oliver Butcher (Tikkie); nephews, Corey Hariston (Lite foot) and Tyreese Butcher (Smiley); great niece; Corrine Hariston; husband, John Williams; adopted sisters, Adrianae Fraiz, Shonta Manick; god-children, Chivon Hale, Namiah Troutman, Nyisha Seddens, and Ameer Williams; in laws, Dee, Ruth and Frank.
