On Monday February 24, 2025, the Lord called Robert (Bobby) Todd to eternal rest. He was the third of four children born to the late Charles Todd Sr. and Gladys Cartwright Todd. Bobby was born May 30. 1939 at West Jersey Hospital in Camden, NJ. He attended Pennsauken public schools and was a graduate of Palmyra High School. He attended St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in
Delair, NJ.

Bobby was inducted into the U.S. Army and served at Fort Dix NJ, Fort Jackson SC, and the Canal Zone in Panama. He received the Good Conduct Medal and was listed as an expert in military riflery. While in the service, he also took up boxing and won several trophies for his weight class.

He worked for the U.S. Post Office in Moorestown and Bellmawr for over forty years. He received an award from the Post Master which was called the “Going the Distance” Cal Ripken Personal Commitment Award for accumulating over 2130 sick leave hours.

Bobby loved sports and played on the Delair Soul Brothers Baseball Team. You would see him on the sidelines supporting the Pennsauken and Palmyra High School football and basketball teams.

In his retirement he liked taking bus trips to the casino and giving rides to Delair people who didn’t have cars. He would also take people to the polls to vote.

Bobby was predeceased by his parents, his brother Charles E. Todd Jr. and sister Doris Todd Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Eileen Todd Wright, brother-in-law Richard Wright, nephews Brian Wright, Barry Wright and Brandon Wright and cousin Shirley Butler.

Bobby was a friend to many people and he will be greatly missed.
