On Friday, April 21, 2023, at the age of 69 years old, Sidney Brown, Jr. peacefully went home to be with the Lord. He was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Mecledia Benson-Williams on September 13, 1953. In his early childhood, he attended Walter H. Hill Elementary School. Sidney later went to Kingsway High School in Swedesboro, NJ where he ran track and Camden County Vocational Trade School. He later listed in the military in 1974. After being honorably discharged, he became a tradesman. After honing his skills as a tradesman, he became an entrepreneur dedicated to his line of work as a Plumber, Electrician, and HVAC Technician - owning "Brown & Son's Plumbing, Heating and Air". Sidney was a very spiritual man who loved the Lord. He led his family to the Lord in 1982 where he attended Faith Tabernacle in Camden, NJ which later became New Hope Temple under the leadership of Apostle Earl Peterson and Dr. Shirley Peterson. The philosophy of daddy's life sums up in one scripture - 2 Thessalonians 3:10 says "For even when were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat'. This scripture was particularly important to our dad because he was a very hard worker and he loved to eat. However, he did not like to eat alone.
